Andiroba belongs to the Meliaceae family, a tropical tree that is found throughout Southern Central America and in the Caribbean Islands. Blooms from August to October. It was one of the most widely used medicinal oils in the Amazon.

Harvested from seeds, it takes about a month to extract the oil from the Andrioba Tree.
