• The oil is extracted from the pulp, which has greasy composition rich in unsaturated fatty acids (palmitic and oleic acids).
• High concentration of carotenoids (rich source of Vitamin A).
• Rich in β- carotene, this oil assists in the regeneration of the lipids layer and helps support skin against UV damage.
• Highly stable and very antioxidant due to large concentration of tocopherols.
• Indicated for anti-aging cosmetic formulations, solar products and after-sun, hair strengtheners, products for dyed and damaged hair, liquid bar soaps or shower gels, creams, lotions and emulsions for the skin.
• Clinical tests have shown that adding on 5% Buriti Oil in a sunscreen formulation increased about 20% in the SPF (sun protection factor) level when compared to another without adding oil.
• Can be used 100 % or in a blend with other oils.
