This Amazonian Tree is found throughout South America in Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador. The nuts grow in the wet season of the rain forest. It is rich in fatty acids (omega-9 and omega-6) linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid along with phytosterols, zinc, copper, selenium, and Vitamins D, C, E and A.The oil color ranges from clear to light yellow.
