Throughout history no flower has been so loved, or renowned as the rose. The early Phoenicians, Greeks, and Romans all grew and traded in roses, which they brought with them as they traveled and conquered. As a result, roses spread throughout the Middle East and elsewhere in the Mediterranean.
For centuries, the Damascus rose (Rosa damascena) has been considered a symbol of Beauty and Love. Damascus roses were introduced into England during the reign of Henry VIII and were frequently displayed and scattered at weddings and festivals.
Hydrosols are the aromatic remains after the steam-distillation process occurs. They are an excellent complement to Essential Oils because they are gentle enough to be used directly on the skin and are safe enough to use on children and pets.

Storage
- If stored in a cool and dry place, shelf life is approximately 12-24 months.
- Keep container tightly closed in a cool well-ventilated place.
- Keep away from oxidizing agents, heat, direct light, and open flame.
- To prolong the shelf life, we recommend hydrosols be stored in the refrigerator from the time of purchase.
