A small shrub-like tree with its origins in the Middle East and Persia, this species of Juniper is said to be the ancient “Cedar” that the Greeks used. Shaman Essential Oils is steam distilled from the dried ripe berries and prickly needles. In folk traditions, Juniper Red Essential Oil has been used primarily to cleanse and purify our environment, and bolster our strength against infection and airborne pathogens.
